Position Overview
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prestigious law firm in Colorado to find an experienced Billing Specialist. The firm is seeking a dedicated professional who can efficiently manage billing processes and ensure compliance with client guidelines. This role is pivotal in maintaining strong relationships with attorneys, staff, and clients, providing top-notch service and accuracy in billing operations.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with attorneys, staff, and clients to ensure compliance with billing and client guidelines.
- Oversee billing processes from prebill to final submission, ensuring accuracy, adherence to client specifications, and timely delivery of eBills.
- Monitor and manage rate compliance, fee caps, discounts, matter budgets, and alerts; communicate adjustments with the Billing & Intake Committee.
- Coordinate with eBilling and accounting teams for new account setups, invoice submissions, troubleshooting, and timely payment follow-up.
- Prepare and maintain reports on accruals, audits, unapplied cash, and portfolio status; provide solutions and ad hoc reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business (or equivalent experience), with prior law firm or professional services experience preferred.
- Proficiency in financial management systems, advanced Excel, and complex accounting analysis; strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, maintain confidentiality, and deliver exceptional client service with flexibility and initiative.

Additional Details
The salary range for this position is $60,000-$90,000
